…there is something you can do, and we can help.

For the last two weeks we’ve been posting information that we hope gets you ready to apply for that next “big” funding announcement. Two weeks ago we posted about the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) teen pregnancy prevention (TPP) funding announcement that has been forecast for months and is, now, supposed to be released at any time.
Still. You. Wait.
Grants.gov continues to show that the OPA funding announcements are still in “forecast” status and as of 1:00 PM Eastern on Tuesday, February 7, nothing has changed.
So, what do you do while you wait?
Here’s an idea: work on writing up a generic program funding proposal template. You can download the template from our website here.
This template helps you think through and write up key elements of a funding proposal about your program(s) before you need it. Put together the template, save it, and update it at least annually. Then, when the funding opportunity appears, pull out the template and expand it into your proposal. Whether the funding opportunity is federal, state, county, city, or private funder, having your template ready will help you get a faster start. It is especially important when you have short deadlines for submission.
We hope this program funding proposal template is helpful to you. There are three other ways we may be of help.
