Change is not permanent for two reasons. One is based on resilience, the other on fragility. First, resilient communities and systems are always changing and adapting. It’s their nature and that is normal. Second, fragile communities and systems can be so uncomfortable with change that they try to return to their previous state. We saw this in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when so many organizations, communities, and systems were yearning to return to “normal” as quickly as possible. What is normal is to Continuously Change Forward. That’s the subject of the 10th lesson in the full Getting Started with the Tenacious Change Approach.
For ten weeks we have shared these video snippets from the full Getting Started with the Tenacious Change Approach streaming video course. This is the last in the series of ten. The week of September 5th we’ll be launching the full course. Until then we’ll tell you more about the course and why it makes an important contribution to the field of community change for the greater good.

Tenacious Change Website Upgrade and Update
We’ve been doing some updating and upgrading of our website. If you haven’t been there for a while, check it out here. It isn’t finished yet, but we think you are going to like what we’ve been doing.
While you are there, check out our Consultation, Workshop, and Training page where you can learn about our core offerings and services. On the first page of that section, we offer some questions to help you think through what you need and how we can help. We also have an attractive PDF version of this section you can download, print, and share with others on your team or in your organization.
Now, how can we help you make change happen for the greater good in your community or organization?
