Better Practices

Whether you’re a fan of “best practices” or not, you are going to love the idea of “Better Practices.” Really! Why? Because Better Practices are ideas, strategies, and actions that emerge as a result of the Meaningful Participation and co-creation of members of the community (organization, system). The seventh video and lesson in the Getting Started with the Tenacious Change Approach is all about Better Practices. The lesson dives into what they are, why they are important in change efforts, how they emerge, and how we can support their emergence and development. Change that is of the people, by the people, with the people, and for the people uses Better Practices to strengthen the movement for change and increase a sense of ownership.

Each week, until we launch the full Getting Started with the Tenacious Change Approach streaming video course in September, we are featuring a brief video on one of the ten essential operating principles of the Tenacious Change Approach. This video is an introduction to the seventh lesson in the series.

Tenacious Change Website Upgrade and Update

We’ve been doing some updating and upgrading of our website. If you haven’t been there for a while, check it out here. It isn’t finished yet, but we think you are going to like what we’ve been doing.

While you are there, check out our Consultation, Workshop, and Training page where you can learn about our core offerings and services. On the first page of that section, we offer some questions to help you think through what you need and how we can help. We also have an attractive PDF version of this section you can download, print, and share with others on your team or in your organization.

Now, how can we help you make change happen for the greater good in your community or organization?
